The City of God

Do you ever feel like trying to "follow Christ" is similar to swimming upstream against the current of culture? I know I do. If I'm honest, I often focus more on navigating my kid's sports schedules, paying bills, and finishing work projects than on trying to "live on mission" within my daily rhythms. (And I'm in vocational ministry.) Well, the passage we are going to walk through this week has the power to "recalibrate" our perspectives and "rekindle" our affections for the life Jesus has invited us into.
